Lakes and Forests

Categories: [Americas]  [Canada]  [Landscape]
For someone coming from Western Europe, where the last remnants of primal forest were chopped before the 10th century and every corner the countryside was wrought by men since then, Quebec appears incredibly wild! It hosts a large number of forests and lakes, home to a vibrant wildlife.
Many national and provincial parks offer easy access to some of this nature and many Quebec people enjoy their leisure time by camping, fishing or kayaking.
