A few weeks ago I posted some photos of WWI planes. It was really nice to watch theses wonderful machines flying, but lets not forget that the war caused millions of casualties, both military and civilian.
The Champagne area was the theater of violent battles. All the French soldiers buried in this cemetery died the same day: 16th of July 1916 ! And this was only a small skirmish compared to the scale of the War...
