Pillar

Another example of fine Gothic architecture. During the last six centuries, this single pillar and these vaults supported the structure of the 50 meter Dungeon of Vincennes ! Even the wood pieces nailed on the roof date from this time !
They knew how to build sturdy things back in the days.
