Baikal Sunset

Categories: [Asia]  [Landscape]  [Night]  [Russia]
Lake Baikal is the largest lake of Asia and by far the deepest lake in the world with its floor lying more than 1600m below the surface ! Being a "Rift Lake", in a few millions years it will have transformed into a new ocean, splitting Asia in two !

However that may be, without waiting that long, the view from the shores is stunning !
