Writing with Light

Categories: [Architecture]  [Europe]  [France]
Photography literally means "writing with light".

Performed by the craftsmen who created the colored stained-glass windows illuminating churches and cathedrals, its purpose was to illustrate the presence of the Christian God beneath their walls.
