Bastille Day

Categories: [Architecture]  [Europe]  [France]  [Paris]
La Patrouille de France (French Acrobatic Patrol) flying over the Louvre to celebrate Bastille Day.
219 years ago, the Parisian citizens stormed the infamous Bastille prison, beginning the French Revolution. 14th of July is now the French national holiday, celebrated by a parade of infantry and motorized troops on the Champs Elysées and jet fighters flying over Paris.
Happy Bastille Day to my fellow Frenchmen !
