In Excelsis Deo

Categories: [Architecture]  [Europe]  [Ireland]
50 km away from the Connemara, lies the medieval city of Galway. Its Cathedral, featuring an impressive dome, has been built during the 50's in the same black stone as most of the ancient buildings through the country.
For those who wonder what does "In Excelsis Deo" means, well I have no clue... I should have been more attentive during my Latin classes.
